Productivité, efficacité, rationalisation : la terminologie du travail n'en finit pas d'envahir le quotidien du citoyen ordinaire, débordant largement du cadre initial qui l'a vue proliférer. La standardisation n'est pas seulement celle des objets : elle est aussi celle des comportements, rendus toujours plus lisses et plus homogènes dans une société obsédée par le contrôle et l'anticipation. Les langages de l'entreprise et leurs dérivés, qu'ils soient visuels, textuels ou comportementaux, deviennent ainsi une sorte de bagage commun, d'oppression partagée, et une nouvelle culture populaire. L'exposition propose d'investiguer comment la production artistique et la figure de l'artiste s'emparent et distancient la question, entre recyclage, oubli et mimétisme.

Produktivität, Effizienz, Rationalisierung : Die Terminologie der Arbeitswelt hat längst in den Alltag des normalen Bürgers Einzug gehalten und beansprucht immer in rasanterer Form vermehrt Raum und Besitz. Diese Standardisierung betrifft nicht nur Objekte, sondern auch das menschliche Verhalten, das in unserer kontrollbesesse- nen und stets antizipierenden Gesellschaft zunehmend "glatt gebügelt" und uniform wird. Die Unternehmenssprache und ihre Derivate - visuell, text- oder verhaltensbezogen - wird zu einem gemeinsamen Rüstzeug, einer geteilten Beklemmung und schliesslich zu einer neuen Populärkultur. Die Ausstellung Corporate Everything untersucht, in welcher Art die künstlerische Produktion und die Künstlerfigur sich - inmitten von Recycling, Vergessen und Mimikry - dieser Frage in verschiedenster Form annimmt oder sich davon distanziert.

In times when economy rules supreme, normalisation is all the rage. The firm is an essential entity; its languages, communication modes, processes, means of perceiving the individual and its creative ideal have largely influenced the human mind. Work terminology consistently invades the everyday life of the ordinary citizen, expanding well beyond its original context. Corporate languages and their by-products - whether visual, textual or behavioural - thus display a kind of common ground, a shared oppression, and form an actual popular culture. Between recycling, omission and mimicry, Corporate Everything invites us to investigate how artistic production and artists exploit the question or dissociate themselves from it.
